I am a huge advocate for the Mini Cooper and think that anyone who can get one should.
One of the many things I love about the Mini is that as soon as you buy one you are grafted into the "Mini Family." (it's not an official thing) Other owners wave to you, talk to you about your Mini, park next to you, leave notes on your Mini, etc... It is great!
We discovered that other owners would wave to us on our first outing in the Mini. We were taking corners with ferocity and going from 0-60 as fast as little Mini could handle it, when we noticed there were these other people driving Mini's waving at us. It took a little while for us to catch on, thinking "What the heck, why are these people waving at us?" When we figured it out we were excited.
Now we are the wavers, and we wave even more enthusiastically when we see another Clubman as those are the more rare ones.
I also love the talks we have with others about the Mini. Other Mini owners will ask if they can come and look inside to see how much larger it is than the original Mini. Other Mini owners have also given us thumbs up when we drive by.
Get a Mini and get another branch of family!
