Snow in December

For the fist time since I can remember, it was snowy on Christmas. My family actually cancelled Christmas because they were worried about people driving in the snow. We have yet to celebrate and it is the first week of February.

I did not go to work for at least a week and a half due to the snow. Some of they days I did not go in were merely because I was worried about getting home. I recalled the time we lived in Smokey Point and our roommate had to work in Seattle. He tried to call in the day we got 13 inches and his work told him they needed him. I will call him A to allow him some privacy. While he was at work the roads and freeways froze, and people were abandoning their cars on the freeways. It took 4 hours for A to get home that night. I was not about to encounter the same fate.

I'm not complaining about the snow, I LOVED it, and would enjoy more now. I also loved the snow against the perfectly hung lights on my house (good job honey!).

Snow, snow come again!
